Aldehyde C-9, also known as nonyl aldehyde, is a classic ingredient from the aliphatic aldehyde family. Its scent is intensely fresh and slightly waxy, with a note reminiscent of citrus peel and green apple. In perfumery it brings brightness, lightness and a characteristic, slightly metallic spark that adds elegance to compositions.
